Change
Spring is coming. This morning the flat was filled with sunlight and the weather was warmer. I woke up early and walked around the flat. I realized that we're going through the final stretch here in Germany. In a month all of this will be merely a memory.

It's scary and exciting at the same time.

I'm going to miss this flat, this country and this life. This chapter is coming to a close.

That's our kitchen

The hallway, The first thing I view when I walk out of our bedroom. The first door leads to the livingroom. The second to the art studio/office.

The view from our livingroom window.

"The key to change... is to let go of fear."
-Rosanne Cash

"Become a student of change. It is the only thing that will remain constant."
-Anthony J. D'Angelo

"Everything in life is connected somehow. You may have to dig deep to find it but its there. Everything is the same even though its different. Somehow everything connects back with your life. The faces in certain places may be different, but the situation is the same. Irony is a hidden factor that creeps around us in life, letting its presence felt only after it has left. Picture back to a year ago and the situation you were in. Look at how things are different yet somehow everything it still in someway cognate. Everything connects together to form the balance of life, to maintain structure. Change is and always will be inevitable, but everything is relative, and all the moments and times in your life will come back around again, you just might find yourself on the other side of the coin. Things are always changing, as fast as everything stays the same."

My friend, Dawn sent me a link to a cool INKBLOT TEST. It has about 56 questions, but I found it a lot of fun to fill out.

I disagree with some of it. My friends and Eric have given me so much. More than they might fully realize.

If anyone else tries it, Share your results, Im curious to see how many different variations and possible outcomes there are for this.

Nice pictures! It's interesting to see your home. What a relaxing view from your livingroom window. I can see how it would be hard to part with. I like those quotes.
I'm going to take that test during my lunchbreak. I hope your ear infection has cleared up!!
P.S. Jonathan called!

I have to say that I totally agree with your Inkblot test and even though you feel Eric and your friends have give you so much (and they probably have), it doesn't mean that you have given just as much in return.

I hope you're feeling better.

Or should that read "haven't given just as much in return." I'm too tired to figure it out - yes, haven't given...there ya go...I shouldn't try to form sentences when so bloody tired!

Clarity, I took this test, thought it was pretty cool...here's my results as requested...I see what you mean, I agree with most of it....

Lisa, your subconscious mind is driven most by Peace

You have a deeply-rooted desire to make peace in the world. Whether through subtle interactions with loved ones, or through getting involved in social causes, it is important to you to be able to influence the world in a positive way.

You have a deep respect for humankind. You care about the future of the world, even beyond your own involvement in it, and you inspire others to feel the same way. Your innate drive toward peace guides you in daily life towards decisions that are respectful toward yourself and others.

Your psyche is very rich; the more you learn about it, the more you will understand who you really are.

I took the test and here's my results...
Julie, your subconscious mind is driven most by Imagination

This means you have a deep desire to use innovative ideas to enhance your life and influence the world around you. This drive influences you far more than you may realize on a conscious level.

Your need to be innovative drives how you look at new opportunities and the kinds of experiences in life you choose to have. On an unconscious level, the reason you may be so driven by imagination is your fear of destruction, the opposite of creation. When you are unable to create due to restrictions imposed by your environment or even ones you unwittingly impose on yourself, do you feel trapped or confined? You may find these feelings of unease only get better when you find another outlet for your imagination.

With such a strong creative orientation, you are willing to entertain a broad spectrum of ideas at any given time. The world is a fuller, richer place because you can contribute new ideas to any experience. Your natural curiosity inspires those around you and encourages them to come up with ideas they wouldn't have thought of without your help.

Though your unconscious mind is driven most strongly by Imagination, there is much more to who you are at your core.
