Shoulder pains
I'm not feeling so hot at the moment. There is something wrong with my arm and I can't lift it. It could be a pinched nerve, a pulled muscle or a back problem. I'm in a lot of pain.

I don't have much to say. I've been resting a lot. It's hard to do simple activities that I used to do.

I don't have any photographs to share... but luckily My 11 year old sister, Amber decided to provide illustrations for today's entry.

That's me trying to lift my arm. She drew that on the computer. She always amazes me with her artistic abilities.

She also illustrated what I will look like by the end of the week... (in the hospital apparently)

This had me cracking up... Green polka-dot granny undies, shirt falling off, and shaking? For some reason there is a needle resting on a fancy pillow next to the bed. I can't imagine what that is supposed to be for.

Looks like I have a bumpy ride ahead of me.

If I don't update by the end of the week, I guess you can assume I look like that drawing.

Clarity,

At least in those drawings you have boobs. Check out the drawing your sister did of everyone (it was hanging on the fridge last time I was there). I'm the only one with no chest! I'm as flat as Eric! :(

Hi Clarity. Amber's pictures are wonderful and hilarious. They really gave me a nice lift. Hahaha! I hope you feel better than they picture you being. Thank you Amber.

Haha! Your sister's illustrations remind me of what my own sister draws with the computer =)

I had the same thing happen to me. My husband stated this is a rotator cup problem. What I did was to buy some Ben Gay or other topical ointment and put on the affected area, and also an anti inflammatory. I used Tynelol Extra Strength. Try that, and I hope you feel better.*HUG*

Yeah, that's some rack you've got there. You know we're all wondering what your bra size is. (I kid)

I just couldn't stop laughing at how they transformed into sagging pancakes after a week of having a shoulder injury. lol!

Hope your feeling a little better today.:)

I buy the Target brand of Icy Hot as it's cheaper, and it seems to work just fine. Please keep us posted.

OMG those drawings made me spit my coffee! Especially the needle on the fancy pillow with the nice sign that says "needle" and the boobs!
I remember my kindergarten teacher told my mom that kids draw people the way they see them...so obviously your sister thinks you have have a chest Dolly Parton would be jealous of!!!
Put some heat on the pain and take some tyenol extra strength back pain (the last time I hurt my back really badly I used these until I got to my therapist and they worked almost as good as the prescription stuff.)

You poor thing!!!! I hope you are going to be okay! My goodness! Thanks for all the good vibes you sent my way with Brooklyns ouchies...she is better...so we will be sending you back some get well vibes as well.

You sister is amazingly talented...and how wonderful of her to be able to cheer you up with her art...I love the grannie panties! :~)

How old is she? 11? Once again, I'm jealous! My computer stick figures are mere lines now. A slightly torn rotator cuff? The symptoms remind me of my injury which I never surgically repaired -- 10 years later and still uncomfortable.

Ohmygod those pictures your sister did are so hilarious and good. She's going to get to be even more amazing at art with age, I can tell. Curses! Curse people with natural talent!
hahaha, I seriously hope your arm gets better since it must suck for that pain and all (Well, duh, Octavia).
Tell your sister she should really start some kind of notebook or something to just stick in all her doodles or something, cos she really is good.
